Q. We’ve asked a question on the issue in the past, but judging from the people who have taken charge of various industry bodies in the recent past, do you think it’s time for a body like a Young Advertisers’ Organisation to come up, a la the YPO?

 

A. I presume your assumption about “young” people is only demographic. Just clarifying. But, yes, for managing transition and to get ready for future, one should plan for intergenerational transfer of passion for serving industry purposes pro bono. Usually, most of the industry bodies have a quasi-young setup where both wisdom and energy converge to deliver the desired outcome.
