We don’t normally carry claims on digital audience numbers since they are not backed by third-part data. But we are make an exception sometimes. Like we are doing for Condé Nast India, the publishers of Vogue, GQ, Architectural Digest and Condé Nast Traveller which have reported high digital growth in the past few months. We would however urge our readers to make their own enquiries and satisfy themselves on the claims made.

According to a presr release, in July 2020, Condé Nast India reached 15 million users, representing a significant 133% increase YoY, setting a precedent for the highest number of unique users for the media house. Vogue India users were up by 58%, reaching 6.1 million. GQ India experienced a 351% rise in users, reaching 5.8 million. Condé Nast Traveller India witnessed 1.8 million users, an increase of 117%, while Architectural Digest India reached its highest ever figure of nearly 1.3 million users with an audience growth of 182%. With this incredible feat, Condé Nast India can claim to be the only premium lifestyle digital network in India with significant scale. The share of affluent online readers—defined as those with an annual household income of more than Rs 25L–across Conde Nast’s four digital platforms is 1.5 to 3 times the competitors.

Said Alex Kuruvilla, Managing Director of Condé Nast India: “The unprecedented digital growth at Condé Nast India is a result of the outstanding content produced by our teams combined with a well-researched and honed audience strategy. Our content sits at the confluence of culture and data and is driven by positive reader engagement. In the last few years and especially during these past few months, our audience footprint has shown exponential growth, and it continues to rise as we invest in building a cutting-edge media network that, above all, prizes unmatched and world-class content.”
