Q. Recently, we read an article damning the bosses of a leading digital media major. If your counsel was sought on the next steps, what would you suggest: take the writer and platform to court or just leave it and don’t give it too much ‘bhav’ (attention)?

A. I find that there is sub-optimality in your data points about the subject. Consequently, my response will be inaccurate. Having said that, if the concerned media owners find the alleged allegations damaging and calumnious, they have the option of legal recourse to the prevent its escalation, as corporate reputation matters and in this day and age of social media, it needs to be addressed with appropriate jurisprudence.
