Former adperson, marketer and entrepreneur Raj Halve passed away on Tuesday. The news has sent shockwaves to friends and former colleagues a few of who met him in the very recent past at his home in Mumbai.

After an MBA from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute in Mumbai, Halve joined Titan Industries as part of the Tata Administrative Services induction programme. He later worked with Lintas and then moved to British American Tobacco as Brand Manager for 555 and the Corporate Brand. He did short stints at Aptech Internet, Shaw Wallace, Go Air, Britannia Industries, Guardian Pharmacy and Samara Capital apart from various consulting assignments. In 2016, he co-founded Tattva Consultants.

Over the years, like his late brother Anand (Andy) Have, Raj’s passionate for poetry leapfrogged, and he set up along with a few others a platform for showcasing work at p4poetry.com.

The cremation is scheduled for today (Jan 24). Last respects could be paid from 1 to 2pm at the Oshiwara Electric Crematorium, Jogeshwari West which will be followed by the electric cremation rites.

The cremation was held at the electric crematorium in Oshiwara. Other than his close family, several close friends and former colleagues were present.
