This Day, Last Year
From the MxMIndia Archives

Paid news: Who will bell the cat?

Good to Read

If you’re tired of people going on about spelling and grammar, and wonder why, here’s why.

The media – a game changer, a metaphor, or nothing more than a business in a marketplace?

Vineet Kumar has published Mandi Mein Media, a book that looks at media in the light of just another commercial activity.

The nuts and bolts of the average modern browser. You’re using one, why not look under the hood?

Joke Of The Day

An interdepartmental cricket match was held every year between the Marketing Department and Engineering Department of one company.

The day of the game, as hard as the marketers tried, the engineers whipped them thoroughly.

In their best tradition, the Marketing Department decided to find the best spin they could on the dismal result. Their notice on the bulletin board the next day read:

“The Marketing Department is pleased to announce that for the recently-completed cricket season, we came in 2nd place, having lost just one game all year. The Engineering Department, however, had a rather dismal season, as they won only one game all year.”

Tweet Of The Day

R Gowthaman,CEO for South and South East Asia, Mindshare @GowthamanR:
