Aims and Objectives: To provide the foodies in Delhi NCR a platform to pick the best restaurant


The Background: is world’s largest online food ordering portal, which makes it easy for foodies to order food and book tables online. Also the fact that umpteen restaurants are coming up, which provides the customers with a wide variety, is a good development. However, the customers are now in a bother to pick the ones that are actually good. thereby provides a platform to the foodies to voice their opinion about the restaurants they like, and help fellow foodies separate the best from the rest.


Strategic Insights: is an aggregator of the rather fragmented restaurant industry inIndia. Along with providing the users with a convenient, reliable network for ordering food and booking tables, strives to provide customers reviews and ratings, given by fellow customers, about various restaurants. In an attempt to provideDelhiwith an opportunity to rate and review their favourite restaurants,, in association with IFB, has launched Restaurant Rumble.


Challenges and impediments:


Initially the struggle was to incentivize the customers to vote.



The customers were offered exclusive discounts at their favourite restaurants as incentives to vote.



There was an overwhelming response for the campaign with 1 lakh+ votes received so far.



We are extremely happy with the responses received till now. And we are looking at  making this campaign an annual one henceforth.

    Never order anything at, they are big cheaters. Their customer care is just for name sake, they don’t ever do anything to solve cusomer issues. I had very very bad experience with them and I was tired of calling them everyday for 10 days and also I have sent 100 of emails to then but they never took any action. They just say that they will come back but they will never come back. They have eaten up my money. Don’t buy anything from them. Here is the update of 3 of my orders with them. I called then atleast 10 times on phone and wrote 100 of emails but nothing happened. The dumb guys did not take any action:

    For all of my orders, I had paid the money online and they just have eaten by money:

    Order – 659108 – It was never delivered to me. I already contacted atleast 20 times through phone and and wrote so many emails. Neither my order was delivered nor any refund given for my order.

    Order – 659295, 659361 – Delivered after 10 PM in the night when all my guests had left. It was delivered to me more than 2 hourss late of the time promised to me. These orders went waste as they were delivered after we had dinner and my guests had left.

    Order – 660346 – Ordered 2 plate samosa but received only one plate. I had informed them but nothing happened.
